I THINK:

Muhammad Ali VS Joe Frazier (bear in mind ALL the 3 fights)
Frazier has Ali's no after fighting him 3 times...So I'd go with a Frazier points decision...

Jack Dempsey VS Gene Tunney (bear in mind both fights)
I'd have Dempsey down to win by either a KO or a conclusive points decision, (I can forsee Tunney being down more than once).

Joe Louis VS George Foreman
I'd go with George Foreman, I just can't see how Louis would defeat a prime Foreman...

Jack Johnson VS Larry Holmes
I pick Johnson to swiftly KO Holmes...

Rocky Marciano VS Sonny Liston
It would be a close fight but I think that Marciano would KO Liston...

Lennox Lewis VS Floyd Patterson
I can't see any of these boxer(s) stopping one antoher... So I';d say that Patteron wins on points decision.....

Muhammad Ali VS Joe Frazier - Ali Wud 15 (but close decision)

Jack Dempsey VS Gene Tunney - Tunney WSd (you said bearing in mind their 2 fights, although I could see a peak Dempsey winning by stoppage or wide points decision)

Joe Louis VS George Foreman - Louis TKO 9 (or Foreman KO2 - if Louis gets past the first 5 rounds he stops Foreman later)

Jack Johnson VS Larry Holmes - Draw (I cant pick a winner in these two)

Rocky Marciano VS Sonny Liston - Liston TKO6 (Marciano made for Liston)

Lennox Lewis VS Floyd Patterson - Lewis KO 1 (Lewis would swat Patterson like Liston did)

Considering that Paterson got floored by some not so great fighters and that Lewis was a real banger I'm surprised you think Flord would win.

SO.

Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier drew...
Jack Dempsey and Gene Tunney drew... + finally,
Rocky Marciano and Sonny Liston drew...

Jack Johnson and Larry Holmes was a botoriously difficult contest to call...

BUT

According to you (the masses) Joe Louis would (not oly defeat Foreman) but stop or KO him!!!

Sorry dudes, I just can't see that one happening...

I believe Froeman would flatten Louis... :box:

I can see Foreman beating Louis. If guys like Tony Galento, Buddy Baer could drop him on the floor, I am sure Foreman could have done the same, if not knock him out early. But Foreman was so damn sloppy and wild swinging, I could see Louis landing a perfectly timed, accurate right left combination and send Foreman reeling.

Liston-Marciano I can see going either way, but if punchers like Cleveland Williams could go the distance, I can see Marciano doing better. I would lean more towards Marciano to win, but the prime Liston was something phenomenal, frightening.

Prime Jack Dempsey vs Tunney? Dempsey. Guys with Dempsey's style burn out by the time they are in their 30's, and Dempsey hadn't fought for better part of 3 years when he met Tunney the first time. I never saw how Tunney was THAT special as a HW, on a p4p basis I do. Dempsey to win.

Jack Johnson vs Larry Holmes? Kinda tough call, but cant say Holmes fought that many hard tests in his prime except for Norton and Shavers, while Johnson fought virtually all the black contenders and white contenders in one of the most talented eras in HW history. I go with Jack Johnson to win that one.

Ali- Frazier 4? lol...I go with Frazier, he had the style to really hurt Ali and take away his best attributes. It was pure hell when they fought. I would have loved to have seen the Ali of 67' against the Frazier of 68-69.

With George and Joe I'd typically go with Joe, But George ALWAYS has the punchers chance....so I'm stayin neutral. If you ask me to bet my hard earned pay....I'd go with Joe Louis but I'd be on the edge of my seat.
