N'dou meeting with Hatton's US promoter

presumably for a late 2007 match. He's apparently on his way on Friday to meet Art Pellulo.

I'm glad that he's got a break, even tho it perverts the world title. Didn't get many favors facing Witter and Cotto at late notice. A real gritty hard working pro who may go on a Glen Johnson style career peak.

Hatton should not even be entertaining an N'dou fight at this stage. Its an absolute joke.

Yeah but if he beats Castillo, or even if he loses for that matter, it's a good fight. N'dou stoping Rabah puts him way above Urango, for me.

Not seen N'dou-Rabah yet. But I'm curious to see what Lovemore is capable of doing with proper training. He showed some good skills in the middle stages with Witter.

It would be a good scrap, but it's not really a step in the right direction for Hatton.

After Castillo, Hatton should be looking for Witter - Providing Witter see's off Harris.

Unless something happens with Mayweather.

Contrary to what he says publicly I am starting to think Hatton doesn't fancy the Mayweather fight. Lets be honest on recent form he would probably get an absolute shallacking.

Sorry Maussa but if he beats Castillo then N'dou is not a good fight any way you look at it.

And yet Ndou has had a career resurgence in stopping a difficult top 10 fighter. My guess it could be a good competitive fight. I'd rather see N'dou-Tszyu or N'dou-Castillo however.

At this stage of Hatton's career, with the type of opponents he has recently been facing and with the potential currently existing to make great, entertaining fights with opponents such as Mayweather, Cotto, Mosely, Witter (etc, etc...) - You really want to see Hatton in with Lovemore N'dou???

A case could certainly be made for that. Hatton should forget fighting second-rate paper world champions and remember it is fighters that make belts and not the other way round. Hatton should drop this persuit of IBF and WBA belts and chase the proper names around.

that's what I was thinking. Hatton looks frail and N'dou is tough and well schooled. I was suprised by the shots he landed on Witter.

I didn't think he was ready for Mayweather. He doesn't want Witter. Cotto is too big. In fact I thought he'd given up on welter.

There are only 2 major fights at 140, which is where he is. A Witter unification (Hatton is still World Champion, regardless of the IBF). And a recognisible name Castillo.

N'dou has a belt so no doubt he can be Hatton's late year opponent?

But I'd rather see N'dou-Castillo? That would be one hell of a fight. I feel Castillo has been underrated for the Ngoudjo fight. But we see how finely poised things are when JLC can't hurt his man. I doubt he'd hurt N'dou - a fit, hardy, fierce bloke.
