The 1983-1985 version Camacho vs The 01-03 version of Mayweather. Who wins this battle of speedsters?

I have a slight favor for Camacho in this fight..

Macho was as fast as Mayweather and has as good a skill as Mayweather.

Macho fought so many top fighters-Rafael Limon, Jose Luis Ramirez, Edwin Rosario and Cornelius Boza Edwards..He has enough experience in lightweigh matches..

He was so tough and willing to win a game..

Mayweather also has very good speed, technique, power and defense.

But in my opinion, Camacho ' offense will break through Mayweather's defense..

I think this wlll be a great match. Camacho will have an edge.

Sorry but I have to ask this question, did you ever saw any of Prime Camacho fights? Camacho was very slick. I think you are underrating Camacho a litle bit here. I could see prettyboy winning this one, but wide UD?

i not only saw camacho in his prime i worked out with the guy on three
occassions.i respect hector.but i am very confident in mayweather
winning by a wide decision.

Great fight between 2 complete fighters. Camacho somehow lost his desire of fighting after the Chapo Rosario fight, but before that, he was unbeliavable. Could have been the best fighter of the Island of Puerto Rico, but his foolishness of drugs, women and wild parties took a heavy toll on him. It is a hard fight for me to pick because of both fighter's qualities. I pick Hector by split decision.

Its Macho time!! :TU: PBF is over rated, and Cammacho was a fast slick southpaw who could actually punch when he stood flat footed.

The macho man wins UD. :TU: :TU:

Even if Camacho fought safety first, PBF would have fits trying to out box him and his quick southpaw jump in and hit, then jump out and move style. :box: :box:

This is an interesting match up, and i've thought about it before. After pondering over it a bit, I do believe that a pre Rosario Camacho would win this fight by decision. Camacho and Mayweather have a very similar style. While Judah was able to trouble Mayweather a little bit in the early rounds, Camacho would be more consistent and probably give Mayweather fits. Camacho had hands just as fast if not faster than Mayweather, I also believe he had heavier hands than Mayweather. It wouldn't be a blow out, but I'd say Camacho wins about 8 rounds to 4 in this hypothetical match up. I also believe Camacho had the potential to be the best Puerto Rican fighter of all-time, he just didn't reach that potential, still he did perform well in his prime years, outclassing good fighters similiar to the way Mayweather does. It's a tough one though, and a strong case can be made for either fighter.
