Audley and Sprott fighting for English title too now.

Post by kevin »

According to the latest BBBoC circular Audley and Michael Sprott will also fight for the vacant English title too now.

Also purse bids are being welcomed for David Haye to fight Cantatore

Where is Boxingchat? I want to know exactly what happened with the Maccarinelli-Haye-Cantatore merry-go-round. How has 'World Champion' Enzo gone from facing Haye, to Cantatore, to a guy that has no right fighting for a WBU, let alone the WBO title (as if there's a difference in the two) in 2 months.

I'd especially like to know what's happening if the EBU are calling for purse bids on a Haye-Cantatore fight.

Any more made up titles they can think to throw at this fight. Fake Britihsh title and fake Euro title. Maybe an IBO or WBF? That way it'l be for domestic, euro and world honours!

Haha, 110% true.

And you know Jim Rosenthal, John Rawling and co aren't going to clarify exactly how lowly regarded these EBE-EU and English belts are... that would expose boxing titles for how f#ckin stupid & out of hand it has become.

Since we've had Timur Ibragimov as a Caribbean champ and Anthony Mundine as a Latin champ, perhaps Harrison and Sprott could compete for a Baltic, Inuit or Polynesian belt, something like that

Maybe the winner could fight the winner of Shane Cameron - Bob Mirovic, who clash for the WBA All-African title

absolutely. They should be ashamed, from promoters, right down to commentators.

Commentators daren't tell the truth about titles. 'Private' Bob Sheridan called the recent Stevie Johnston fight as being for a world title, on Maxboxing's video of it.

He's awful. Never shuts his big gob for even a second. It's ridiculous that Michael Katz says Sheridan is "the best blow by blow man ever". Sometimes I just don't get these yanks.
