booed in and carried out !! ..... audley harisson

Post by rhino222 »

i have never been as delighted to see someone get sparked as i was last night.

in my time attending boxing matches etc i have only ever met 2 fighters who i considered to be pompous arses, one was lennox lewis who had the right to be as bigger arse as he wanted and still has my respect. the other was/is audley harisson. audley fell from the pompous arrogant tree last night, big time. i bet deep inside FW is absolutely delighted !!

cant give enough praise to michael sprott, one of the lovely guys in boxing, he must be floating on a cloud right now. he will get a pat on his back for the rest of his life for ridding us of audley harisson.

i thought we had a shock defeat for audley in the making. i forecast a sprott victory, and a KO and i had money on it, unfortunately i thought it would be a bit later on in the fight, around the 9th round. at 66-1 i would have done very nicely indeed, but alas, i dont care.

audley is down and out, knocked out !!

I must admit, although I am amongst Audley's most vociferous critics, I did not like the booing he received.

Yes, he has brought it upon himself, with his large gob, lack of humility & inability to deliver when it really mattered, but there was no need for the boos; it just gives him some sort on inverted credibilty.

After all, he is a local Wembley lad, you'd have thought that someone would have been cheering for him.

Audley is more likeable when he keeps his mouth shut.

Not suprised at all that Sprott won.

Well, that essentially was the problem last night! If you look at the replay his mouth is open when Sprott nails him with what was in many ways a bit of an arm punch.

Not really, remember for him it's strictly business, never personal. I was at Wembley and Warren looked sick. He knew he'd lost a cash cow right there.

Absolutely. Warren wanted Harrison to win that make no mistake.

Because of the gold medal and name, had Harrison got past Sprott and muddled his way to a win over Skelton then Frank could have probably got him a world title shot in Vegas and everybody would have made a nice few quid.

If Sprott beats Skelton you see him getting a 'world' title shot? No way Jose. It'll be a struggle to get Skelton one to be honest.....
