Dennis, I remebr inmy first Natl GG fight against Paul Saxson, in the 2nd Round, i gave him 2 Knock downs, adn 2 standing 8 eights. Afer 3, of any combination it shoudl be stopped ? I guess its beacuse the officials are taken from each city ?
Golden Gloves is known for using mainly "good old boys" officials who are not good followers of the rules. GG refs tend to "letum fight!" rather than look out for the safety of the boxers. In my opinion, based on what you said, your bout should have been stopped - but, then again, I wasn't there.
