ALBERT SOSNOWSKI- Whats the overall scheme/plan of attack?

Sosnowski has been plodding along boxing 6 rounders around Europe for a good 9 years now. I hardly think hes a feared/avoided fighter, so exactly why has this 39-1 fighter never been moved up?

Someone i've never heard of called Paul Cook knocked him out in 9 rds, but otherwise he holds decisons over the dead body of Orlin Norris, ex-British champ Mike Holden, Jacklord Jacobs, Biko Botowamungu and even a couple of stoppages over legends Michael Murray and Everett Cement-Head Martin.

Has anyone ever seen him fight? Is he any good?

And more importantly is Roman Greenberg going to be Albert Sosnowski Jr?

Saw "Albert The Dragon" fight live once wasn't very impressed, looked to have alright power but not much else this was a few years back though. I think staying on six rounders may have been down to stamina issues.

He's also got a crazy bunch of Polish supporters who follow him around, security were chasing them all over the place it was quite entertaining.

I've seen him box in the UK and also when Sky showed his bout against Holden, which wasn't a bad fight actually.

For a guy with his record he is extremely mediocre. Looks like the best he will get out of boxing is a payday if he gets drafted in to face a world class opponent.

It's a strange situation for someone with a supposedly impressive record and you have to wonder what sort of pride the bloke has got to have avoided any sort of proper opposition.

Bonin-Sosnowski would seem like an ideal fight - both Polish, both have similar (padded) records with one defeat, both need a win to give their record a kick start (although Bonin has some laughably high ranking with the WBC - about 11 or 12)

I have 10-12 of his fights. He has a good record, but his boxing does not seem to improve, so I think he is going nowhere.

True 50 vodka crazed nutters made York Hall feel like Warsaw for twenty minutes but Sosnowski, for all his physical similarities to Golota is about as close to his countryman as Audley Harrison is to the Welterweight title.

A big plodder, well used because he flogs 150 tickets and now, 9 years on he could be a fall guy for a few peripheral contenders.

Saying all that, he's no worse than say John McDermott.

Axe, whats up with these terrorfying Polish fans, they really intensely root for their man. A polish prospect boxed on the Eastman undercard in York Hall and it became a real intense atmos, they literally appeared out of nowhere and disappeared as soon as the fight was over! (didnt stick around to support the Polish journeyman with a losing record who fought later!)
