On another note, Audleys added a bit of action to the domestic scene. I hope he stays so we can see more competitive domestic HW action.
Sprott-Audley did the low blows affect the outcome?

I don't think anyones commented on Sprotts low blows, very low and hard prior to the KO. The ref didnt see them. Did it affect Audley? I think it did. No excusing him leaving himself open but the low blows helped Sprott land that KO punch imo. A close back and forth fight too with a Sprott KD to boot. We need a rematch

Re: Sprott-Audley did the low blows affect the outcome?
They did contribute to the outcome, in that they scared the life out of Audley, when Sprott started roughing him up & he realised he had a proper fight on his hands.Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:I don't think anyones commented on Sprotts low blows, very low and hard prior to the KO. The look of terror on his face in the 3rd was telling & it led to a drop in pace as his stamina depleted due to the fear.

Harrison is hardly Lennox Lewis is he. Lewis was mentally strong, Harrison is nothing of the sort.Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:Just like Lennox couldnt beat McCall or Rahman?nickd wrote:Nobody can tell me the mental midget Harrison could actually beat Sprott now - a man who knocked him completely senseless.

You cannot compare Lennox Lewis, a man who had already proved himself at the highest level to Audley Harrionson, a man who is scared of his own shadow, whose best win is against a shopworn & ill prepared Danny Williams.

Comparing Audley to Lennox is like comparing a Robin Reliant to a Bentley Flying Spur.Syntax Error wrote:Exactly right.nickd wrote:Harrison is hardly Lennox Lewis is he. Lets not make excuses for Harrison losing, he lost to the better man, and thats that - He is a nasty peice of work just like Scott Harrison but thats where the comparison ends - Scott is talented and brave and always came to give his all - Audley has talent but as we have seen isnt brave enough and wont fight with all his heart - We must not get confused with confidence and a bit of hype and downright arrogance - Only Harrison and a few of his die hard fans believed the shit about being champion in 2007 and unifying in 2008 - The guy had to prove he was the best in Britain and couldnt - Skelton will beat Sprott and prove he IS and hopefully get a world title shot - Matt does have heart, even if he is a bit crude in his style but he earns my respect both as a man and a fighter - Surely FW will tell Harrison its all over and wont inflict on us another fight with Danny Williams should Williams beat Gammer which I somehow doubt - Enough is enough and we have had more than enough of AH - Look at the heart of Earl as well as his skills and bravery, OK he lost but we all had respect for his sheer effort while taking a tremendous onslaught - Harrison has never shown any respect for domestic fighters and that has let him down badly - You cant go talking world titles while ignoring British fighters like Skelton, Sprott, Gammer Etc - Skelton wanted a fight with Harrison a few years back but Harrison wasnt interested and instead went to the States to beat up bums to build his unbeaten record up - If you are not the best in Britain how on earth can you be among the those who hold a world title

Sprott may have beaten audley but is no way a world class fighter.
He has 10 losses already so can be considered more of a journeyman, decent at british level, but when he has taken on a world class opponent (i.e corrie sanders sparked him in a round) hes fallen short.
I'd rather see how Skelton fares in a title shot, hes always got a punchers chance

It's an insult to compare Harrison to a Reliant Robin; they were actually decent reliable cars!!!!!
