Hobson provides update on clinton woods...
ha ha.. has ugly woollatt changed his t-shirt again, uk boxingpress representative now..... and an article that is an update which absolutely updates us with nothing. we knew clinton had an injury, we knew he was in talks with everyone, and we know FA fighters are after the lucrative options rather than the domestic battles we all want to see.
hatton v witter and woods/calzaghe/froch are all fights that we (the boxing public) want.
please mr spudly, you are mr hobsons right hand man now that mr waterman has become pissed off. can you please mr woollatt, secure meaningful domestic fights for your charges...

I wouldn't be in any hurry to feed him to dawson, who would beat him up...neither tarver nor jones will inflict the same hurt and they would likely be bigger ticket sellers...Max Molyneux wrote:Why does Hobson want washed up Tarver or Jone's for Woods? Wonder how past It Castillo Is.
Can Hobson only get big fights for them when the other guys past It?
I'd pay to see Wood's fight Dawson though, Wood's Is more proven than Adamek.
cos its all about money. it should be all about prestige and legacy, shit, i could KO muhammad ali right now (i think) but it does not make me great just cos ive got alis name on my resume.Max Molyneux wrote:Why does Hobson want washed up Tarver or Jone's for Woods? Wonder how past It Castillo Is.

you are right mate in what you say, money will always play a part, but its just a shame that these guys never fight the best options available domestically, not just FA fighters but most of the top level fighters in this country. boxing must be the only sport where the top level fighters can never meet yet still call themselves 'best in the world'
