He has potential and is still very young...

if he is brought and reared well, similar to whats being done to David Haye, he will become a fine boxer...

I heard he got sparked in sparring by Mike Holden. If it's true (and it's always a big if), it doesn't bode well for his chin.

I dont know about sparring Holden, but I saw Greenberg sparring Sprott last week. He stood Sprott on his head for 6 rounds. Sprott got hit with every punch in the book, he looked humiliated.

We may never know about Greenberg's chin because he is so good and so difficult to hit.

It's a shame the BBC dont showcase him as much as Haye, I think Greenberg is the better fighter.

In truth, Knockout artist, I've never seen him fight so I was only basing my post on what I'd heard. As you know, he's appearing tomorrow night on the Sheffield bill. Hopefully, the Beeb will screen his fight.

Roman has looked very impressive everytime I have seen him fight (against limited opposition). He is very quick and raw, he swamps his opponents with punches. I am not sure if he is a one-punch KO-artist (I might be wrong), but the accumulative effect has been devastating.

Another very decent HW on the British Scene

Greenberg fights Luke Smpkin in Sheffield tonight which is a reasonable test. I don't know if there's any truth in the rumours with regards to Holden. In contrast I've heard that Greenberg gave a very good account of himself in sparring against Atilla Levin recently.

Apparently Levin did catch Greenberg with one big shot but his legs never buckled - Levin can punch. Time will tell if he's he real deal. Greenberg's team are slowly unleashing him to the British public - he's been quite well hidden up to date. His fight will be televised by the Beeb tonight and there's also going to be a piece in the Observer about him within the next fortnight. Boxing Monthly will also be featuring Greenberg next month.

Some seriously believe in Greenberg's potential.

I'm quite impressed with Levin, I think he can go far (having said that I also thought Danny Williams would beat all of the new crop of world rated heavyweights - Rahman, Tua et al).

However, one aspect of Levin that I don't think is that impressive is his punch. Infact conversing with people who have seen more of Levin than me would call him a lightpunching heavy.

Cheers for pointing that I'm talking bollocks about Levin, Stu.

That's quite impressive as Sprott's riding high at the moment. Greenberg does seem somewhat of a precocious talent at the moment. Great story, being from Israel and bizarre that a former world-class amateur should end up on the books of the relatively small promotional outfit (and I mean no disrespect at all) of Jim Evans and Robert Waterman.

I've seen absolutely nothing in Greenburg so far that suggests he could rise to the top even domestically. All these positive stories I've been hearing lately seem to conflict greatly with his professional performances to date. Let's just see how he looks tonight.
