Heard A Rumour.....Sensational Return

Post by Hagler2002 »

That Glenn McCrory is planning a sensational return to the ring later this year to challenge Enzo Maccarinelli for his WBO title.....Glenn still feels very bitter about the increase in the weight limit in the division which he feels cheated him out of been a world champion for longer than he was due to the fact he was really tight at 190lb, he thinks he can still be a force especially at 200lb.

this is a joke right? Glen still looks a bit battered, somehow, from that incident outside a pub.

No offence but doesn't this story pop up avery two years or so?

Glen's way past his best and covered in ring rust I imagine. If Glenn was ten years younger a Enzo Maccarinelli fight would make a good match though.

Obviously, this won't happen. But look at it this way: Glenn is in his 40's, hasn't fought for what, 14 years? And is clearly in no condition to get in the ring with anyone, yet alone a young puncher like Maccarinelli. He sounds like ideal WBO material to me.

I'm only half joking when I say he'd be a better opponent than Bobby Gunn.

He knows who they are .... they had better keep looking over their shoulders for the next 30 years or so.
