Earl in hospital???....

Post by silkov »

I've read somewhere that Graham Earl is still in hospital following his recent fight and was just wondering if anyone can either confirm this or pour cold water on it?... obviously if he is I wish him well and a speedy recovery... if he is in hospital though it does put the towel argument in an altogether different light I think!... having said that I hope what I've read is wrong and that Graham is fine...

Well Graham was at the York Hall the next day watching the fights as Johnny Eames was is in Romanova's corner against Shanee Martin.

So unless he had a relapse, I am not sure. I'll try and find out tomorrow.

I have just spoken to Johnny Eames and he said the story is "Total Bollocks"

Graham is fine and will be back in training next week.

Back in the gym next week!!!!

The lad shouldn't go anywhere near a boxing gym for about a month after that fight. He's had some long hard struggles during the last several years and that was a really tough fight against Katsidis. Graham took a lot of big shots that night and they want to watch out for him, which I'm sure a trainer of Johnny Eames' standing will.

Glad to hear that, hopefully the training will be just keeping in shape rather than actual sparring at this stage....

Johnny just said 'training' he didn't mention the gym.

If someone has 'reported' this and it's totally untrue, they should be ashamed of themselves.

OKAY - Graham should keep away from any kind of training for about a month and let his mind and body heal. That was one extremely hard night's work and he should put his feet up for a bit. It won't do him any harm.

Sorry guys but if you have to verbally claim vicroty in a debate you've probably lost! :TU: It is best to shrug, sit back and then bask in the self-affirming glow of your opponents ignorance :box:
