I think Monzon would expose Lennox' glass chin within 2 minutes.
After all, Monzon was superior in punching power and reach to Mike Tyson and Vitali Klitschko...
Unless we're talking Juan Carlos Monzon, the light welter(2-24) here, than i would give favour Monzon on points.
My 7th sense(I see dead people with my 6th of course) tells me to vote for option three

Roy said a few things that were exaggerated or untrue, but he also said a lot of true things. And every disagreement was justified.
As for Monzon and Lewis, well I dislike Lewis a lot. He's a nice guy but I don't like him. In 1992 he was my favourite because he had a great body, thin waist and washboard abs. He bore a resemblance to Will Smirth so I always taped a newspaper over his face in his fights. I only really watched the clinches.
But after a while he put on weight and grew those awful dreadlocks and wasn't as young as he used to be. De La Hoya is my favourite fighter nowadays.
Come on guys, every one makes mistakes. Holmes immediately apologized 24hrs later after his jockstrap comment. And although he's one of my favourite guys here, even Dutch Windmill has made many totally unfair and incorrect comments. I guess we should keep taunting the Germans who supported the nazis?
When a guy says "I realise that was wrong" guys should completely forget about it. That's what sets people apart from trolls. Trolls have an unwritten rule, "Never apologize for anyhting".
In my case I immediately realised I was going too far and IMMEDIATELY apologized. But still Broncano incorrectly said, "It doesn't matter if you take it back the damage is already done".

Why would anyone create an account when they talk so little boxing? See Kamikazes profile and posts. I think he must be someone else since he's created an account with little knowledge of boxing yet huge knowledge of everyone.Kamikaze wrote:Sugar Roy is a dumbass, and so is Lopman for thinking no one knows it's him.

What exactly is this "bong hit" you speak of? I have never heard of such a thing.Sugar Roy isnt a dumbass, he just like to hit the bong a couple a times a day thats all.
Tomato Can, what are you talking about?I also have voted against every Republican candidate in every USA Presidential Erection since 1972 but that is neither here nor there. It is probably irrelevent as well.

Lopman/Sugarroy:
If I may speak frankly:(I won't wait for your answer though)
My opinion on you starting to post on another user name gives me a real bad impression of you, almost like a coward.
I also get the feeling you're trying to (re-)establish yourself as a poster by kissing ass. Being overly nice to people, and than saying something bad about them. Things like "Eric, your definitely the funniest poster on this forum", makes me wanna puke.
It's just my feeling though.
I find your reasons to dislike Lennox Lewis highly dubious. I won't start anything about your sexual preferences, but to dislike a fighter because he gets older and starts wearing dreadlocks??
Furthermore, I feel you care to much about the "aura" surrounding fighters, I mean you pick Dempsey above Lewis because of the Legend.
You like RJJ because of the show he puts on, and not for his tremendous skills.
My definition of a true boxing fan(talking lifetime fans here), is somebody that looks past all this show, and appreciates what it's really about. Skills. The game itself. I actually enjoy watching Sven Ottke and Chris Byrd and two Romanian featherweights with 0.200 records.
I don't think that Monzon-thing was specifically about Monzon-Lewis, you know. It was more typical for your approach to boxing, and some posters waited for an opportunity to get you.
Again this all is just my opinion. If i've hurt your feelings remember that i'm only some person who's life consists of watching Bulgarian fight cards, fantasizing about him and Beyonce, drinking cheap beer, and getting his ass whooped in sparring and fights despite training 15 hours a week.
If you reply to me, please say what you think. Cut the being-nice crap.
Call me an asshole if you wish. But remember Scotland is not far away.
And, can you please tell me where I have been unfair and even incorrect?

If that's true then I guess RoyRobinson kissed ass too, of guys like kidlefty and ben keilty. I was just complimenting. If a guy is nice I am nice back, if a guy is not nice I am not nice back. Whether you like it or not, every disagreement was justified, and the only ones which I can not prove were justified cannot be proved otherwise either.I also get the feeling you're trying to (re-)establish yourself as a poster by kissing ass. That is wrong. That is bullshit. I go entirely by watching skills, and in fact my mind thinks the exact opposite. I don't have the slightest clue where this came from, most people who have read my posts would know it's the exact opposite.Furthermore, I feel you care to much about the "aura" surrounding fighters...
I didn't think that much of Dempsey either. As I said before, bobbin and weavin while keeping your hands low is sticking out your chin, I don't get that. I'll admit Lewis may beat him, and most legendary heavys too, but that doesn't mean Lewis is better.I mean you pick Dempsey above Lewis because of the Legend.
I was not serious. I hate RJJ. I hate the way he takes no opponents seriously. The way he screamed like a girl after a fight. And I hate the way he likes cockfighting. He's just the best boxer in the world right now.You like RJJ because of the show he puts on, and not for his tremendous skills.
Then I am a true fan.My definition of a true boxing fan(talking lifetime fans here), is somebody that looks past all this show, and appreciates what it's really about. Skills. The game itself. I actually enjoy watching Sven Ottke and Chris Byrd and two Romanian featherweights with 0.200 records.
I won't quote because I'd have to search and it's not worth it.And, can you please tell me where I have been unfair and even incorrect?
But generally you have said unfair things about boxing. You have bias towards the little fighters. You don't really care about classes below lightweight. And the most incorrect of all, you think "the punching technique is different" in the lower weights. It is exactly the same basis for all weights.
You have bias against the old fighters too. You have shown deliberate ignorance(I don't mean your ignorant though) of the old times and old fighters.
That doesn't matter though, since you have a huge knowledge of the current scene.

Why do you make statements you take back?
Monzon - Lewis, Dempsey - Lewis? That's pathetic man, as soon as you find out the public opinion is different, you change opinion.
You have a certain arrogance towards other posters which irritates me.
"Solution to the Robsteth problem" Jezus man, this guy has been on for 2 years and now you come with that great "solution" of yours.
This is another Lopman/Sugarroy classic(in your last post!)
Why do you say things that do not relate to what you stated earlier?
I think it's cowardish and childish to start posting under a different username. Your inconsistency makes you laughable, it's like Troy Weida as a heavyweight contender. You may know some stuff about boxing but you draw the wrong conclusions.
It's not exactly clear what's my point in taking you down though. Somewhere you must be a good person. Hitler was good for his dogs.
Stalin loved kids. God loves you too son.

God damn, what's wrong with you son. Isn't the best way to compare boxers skills letting them fight eachother? And don't pull that shit on me that styles make fights, if fighter A is three classes above B he'll beat him. Basta.I'll admit Lewis may beat him, and most legendary heavys too, but that doesn't mean Lewis is better.
Well I liked Lopman nor Sugarroy. They were both hypocrites. Well he did, if you wanna hear it.Lopman wrote: If that's true then I guess RoyRobinson kissed ass too.

Yeah right, to quote a very RECENT post of yours.Lopman wrote:That is wrong. That is bullshit. I go entirely by watching skills, and in fact my mind thinks the exact opposite.
That "he grew those awful dreadlocks" is a classic. This is like one of your last posts, i didn't even had to dig it up.1992 he was my favourite because he had a great body, thin waist and washboard abs. Judging from your posts you only care about the greats. You don't like the game, I tried to dig up a post about a lesser known fighter, I didn't succeed. Further adds to my claim you like everything but the game itself..Then I am a true fan.
