In the 5th, Golota had Bowe all over the place, a great opportunity to finish him. Seeing the fight footage, Golota was too hesitant and didn't really know how to finish Bowe off. Riddick was all over the place and obsorbed a lot of punishment.
Even in the fifth, Golota was flirting with danger by throwing body shots, & his corner told him not to punch to the body anymore. Why Golota not listen? :x

Yes Bowe took all the punishment in the world and made Golota quit had Bowe not had the ability to take so much punishment he would of lost..samuel wrote:Huh? Bowe "won" both fights because Golota was a headcase, not because he "sucked it up." Unless you consider sucking it up to be getting soundly beaten while you wait for your opponent to go insane. In fact, those "wins" pretty much finished Bowe off as a fighter.Victor*KC wrote:He hit pretty damn hard but Bowe was a tough SOB he sucked it up and came out the winner in both fights

Re: Golota-Bowe
The real question is why did Cotton allow Bowe to keep taking that kind of un answered punishment in the 5th? Golota landed something like 45 shots maybe more but he landed at a connect rate of like 72% or something crazy like that, no way should Bowe have been allowed to continue after going through that.Rocky Balboa wrote:www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADrvQjCPqjM&NR
