Are you suggesting Evander Holyfield gives Audley a heart transplant?

Whether they are fighting, running, playing dominos, snooker, darts, pulling birds or marathon boozing, Evander wins every time.

i've seen everyone of both these fellas fights.

Holyfield even now, is on another level, he'd take him apart inside the distance.

I don't know, I say that big Aud would thrash Holy at Balderdash.

Maybe the first time, but Holy would be well up for a rematch!

Perhaps Holyfield could inject some impetus into Audley.

If not, perhaps he could inject something else.

I'm not sure it is a silly thread. I remember reading Boxing Monthly after Holyfield was beaten by Toney, and the reporter for that fight (I forget who it was, I'm afraid) was saying back then that Holy was shot, and that (to paraphrase) 'Evander could well be a stepping stone for Harrison'. At the time, I agreed.

I thought Evander was done. I still do, in a way, because I really don't think he should be fighting. But his win over Oquendo is better than anything Harrison has ever achieved. Holyfield has one thing Harrison has never displayed, and that's a real fighting heart. However, I'd hate to see Holyfield's heart versus Audley's rumoured ability disguised as a world title eliminator. Sadly, bitter experience tells me it probably isn't far away.

holy wins this one after a fast start by fraudley, who gets demoralized by holy's ability to take his best shots---then evander wears him down for mid-to-late round KO!!

Steroid cheats aren't allowed in this country. He'd get booted out like Guillermo Jones. In fact he's a health hazard so that'd never happen over here. Audley would have to go in whatever American backwater will let 'Evan Fields' fight, LOL

Shit the bed maussa, aren't you judge, jury and execution. Who needs hard proof when you have rumour and allegation?!!

If Holyfield drops that sneaky right that decked Oquendo on A-Force its all over. Holyfield would probably figure Audley out in 1.

Holyfield KO1 Harrison.

Dear oh dear.

When you look at how he's kept his physique, all the muscle and tendon injuries he's had, the shrinking bollocks he suffered, the constant fierce comebacks & then flat as a pancake follow ups...it does make ppl wonder. The wide discrepency in weight between fighting weight and non fighting weight, the way a cruiser can back up Bowe/Lewis, the pace that a man "winded in amateur fights" could go at it,

Let's put it this way. Does anyone THINK Holy has been on the juice?

Evan Fields W12 Harrison.
Harrison W12 Evander Holyfield.

Shrinking bollocks? What on earth! Where has it ever said that Evander had shrunken testicles? Are you his dresser or something?

fornicate me Maussa, do you believe eveything you read? Some guy called George Kimball has access to a PC, therfore everything he writes is 100% factual? So Holyfields doctors are supposedly now spilling the beans on something Kimball calls "hypergonadism"

What a heap of steaming bollocks.

I've suspected he was on steroids for ages, for the reasons I gave above. Hair loss, that's another suspicious area, btw. (please don't say 'oh, so anyone whose hair falls out is a steroid user').

How do you know it's a load of steaming bollocks?

Do you also think Mosley, Roy Jones, Guillermo Jones, James Toney achieved without juicing?

"Some guy called George Kimball" - now I know a lot of those TSS guys were overrated, as was the whole site, but GK is a 1986 recipient of the Nat Fleischer Award for Excellence in Boxing Journalism & has been covering boxing for major newspapers since the 80s.

Yeah! He's so excellent that he hasn't even bothered to research Hypergonadism. If he had bothered, he would have realised that the symptoms of said are entirely and 100% the opposite of what he decided Holyfield is suffering & what he titled his article.

Wow, you must really have to be an excellet journalist to win that award.

Actually, the article states hypogonadism, hypo means less than, as it hypoglycaemia, or low blood sugar as it's known, not hypergonadism, which would be gigantic testicles, like what I've got.

Althought this is merely one piece, can all of us here really say we've never suspected Holyfield abused steroids? Whether he did or not, I've still got tremendous respect for his courage and tenacity as a fighter.

George Kimball is a well respected long standing journalist, and I would suggest it's your reading skills which are at fault, rather than his writing skills.

Well respected by who? What kind of serious writer takes a legends name with only rumour and writes "Balls the size of peas"?

How about 'Jerry Quarry: Brain like mushy peas'?

Well, ok well respected in that he is well established, has been around a long time, and has a history in print media, which usually means they are a reputable journalist.

However, writing for boxingtalk kind of ruins such credibility a little, but the fact Evander is under investigation and has had numerous health problems which have mysteriously appeared and dissapeared throughout his career, and given some of the weird performances he has turned in, then I think it is no wonder that the finger is pointing at Evander right now.

I wonder how many times we've seen Evander Holyfield, and how many times we've seen 'Evan Fields.'

Having rooted for him many times in the past, I feel very suspicious about him. I also think Mosley, Vitali, Toney & Jones have done some serious juicing.
