Help with a Documentary

Hello,
I am currently working on a documentary about Jewish Boxers during 1910 through the 1940’s. I was hoping someone might know of ANY living boxers from that time (Amateur or Pro). Any contact information or leads for that information would be greatly appreciated! Also, if anyone could tell me how I may be able to obtain fight footage from that time.

Southpaw, have you tried getting in touch with Allen Bodner who wrote the book "When Boxing Was A Jewish Sport"? Don't know of his whereabouts but perhaps someone on this site knows him or maybe contact him thru the publishe of the book. Maybe he knows who is still around.
Also, Think Tank 3 in the village has an exhibit of paintings of Jewish boxers. Check out the link, you'll see where to click once you're there.

Goldthorpe, Thank you so much for the lead. Yes, I am trying to get in touch with Allen Bodner. I LOVED that book, as well as The Jewish Boxers Hall of Fame. We have been trying to make an interview with Mike Silver work, I hope that happends, he is a great historian! We are however setting up an time with Bert Sugar, so thats great. We have interviewd Izzy Zerling who was a Pro from that time. He was a great interview! I was trying to get to Herbie Kronowitz, but I think he may be in Florida and we only have his contact in Brooklyn.
I work close to the Think Tank, and yes, the show of Charles Millers work is GREAT. They are having a reading there on Wed night. With the authore of Al "bummy" Davis vs Murder Inc., I hope to speak to Mr Miller there. We are also looking to get in touch with Douglas Century, but dont have a contact for him as well!
