Nice one, I always felt we needed an Oz forum.

Most of my fave boxers are in Oz - Lovemore N'dou, Gairy St Clair, Paul Briggs and of course Anthony Mundine.

No Worries Mate.
I'm from Australia and its hard to find topics on Aussie Boxers so I had a Forum Started. I have just created a poll on our own Anthony Mundine. I'd like to know what people think and who thinks will win his upcoming bout.
His last fight against Sam was very controversial. Everyone thought Sam should have been declared the winner by far, but the decision went the other way. Robbed I tell Ya!!!
The second fight between them is coming up next Wed. I hope Sam Ko's him first round!!

I have to say the Aussies could show us Brits and even the yanks how to produce a boxing TV show. Not much banter before fights just into the action and they show every fight.

I have the feeling Australian boxing could be very well respected in the near future.

We get to see a lot of boxing but im pissed they arn't showing the Darchinian fight or Marquez-Vazquez fight. Instead they have bloody UFC on.

Down under getting it's own international boxing forum?

This has got to be stopped before things get completely out of hand. This could end up with respect and honor being allotted to more and more deserving groups of sport enthusiasts. Sure it starts with Australia, but it's a slippery slope, this tipping of the hat and offering of respect.

What next? Will we be forced to offer up a daily G'day? Or worse, the sudden appearance of Vegamite sandwiches on the menu at the BoxRec Cafeteria?

We can only hope the decision makers know what they are doing.

I guess the real test will be if the Aussie forum can catch "Boxing Mundial".

Will you be our moderator?

Even though I give you the occasional serve at the old timers forum, I think you do a good job.

Hello Comeisnspinner.....If you carefully read my post what it actually says is when fully decoded is the following....

...."How nice it is that such a fine geographic location so rich in boxing history is at long last being offered up the respect it deserves by having its own section in our state of the art, highly relevant, cutting edge forum.

One has little need or want to "get over" that which delights them.

However if I didn't like it, I would drop in just as often as I felt the inclination, paying little if any attention to your considerate and well thought out set of suggestions.
