Do you guys think Naz will ever make a come back, if so when. Also why do you think he never fought after his only loss, he wanted to become a legend and this is not the way to do it.
The best fighters are the ones that get beat and make a better return not like naz, beaten once then vanish.

Re: Naseem hamed question (comeback)
I don't think he will comeback. He is 33 now and hasn't fought in nearly 5 years. It's a shame because he was a fantastic talent with a huge punch. I think he got carried away all the things associated with the money he had and lost the love of the game.mimmy123 wrote:Do you guys think Naz will ever make a come back, if so when. He was given a boxing lesson by Barrera but to lose to him is no dishonour. That loss should have given him the wake up call he needed but unfortunately he faded away into oblivion.
His age and the obvious effects of not training will have taken their toll on him and if he did come back he wouldn't be anywhere near the fighter he was, and most definetly he wouldn't make the featherweight limit now.

Barrera beat Hamed but he didn't give him a lesson at all. He won more rounds. I often wonder what people actually watch. The fight was atrocious and Barrera won most rounds by landing 9 punches while the Prince landed 5 or 6. Very overrated performance by Barrera. I knew Barrera would take him because the Prince fought like a total amatuer. It is a testiment to how much the Prince meant in his short time at the top. People loved or hated him, but they all wanted to WATCH him. He hasn't fought forever and still his name comes up. Amazing.
look at hamads face at the end of that fight,he was in shock, on a world level he was nothing special.younger people were more into him,I knew when he fought a "live" fighter he would come unstuck which he did,to easy to hit. He was rocked a lot in that fight can only assume you are his best mateSir Psycho Sexy wrote:Barrera beat Hamed but he didn't give him a lesson at all. He won more rounds. I couldn't stand the Prince. I was happy Barrera beat him, but he didn't school or beat him up. It was a boring fight and Barrera won most rounds by landing a dreadfully low amount of punches while Hamed landed even less.icejack wrote:look at hamads face at the end of that fight,he was in shock, on a world level he was nothing special.younger people were more into him,I knew when he fought a "live" fighter he would come unstuck which he did,to easy to hit.
