One very interesting point was where he was talking about his fight with Ron Lyle. 'I took punch after punch until 1 punch hit me so hard it didn't hurt anymore.........I went back to my corner to hear the screams from the crowd 'whats wrong with you people can't you tell I'm hurt can't you tell I'm in pain' I don't think George was really angry at the fans but it just makes you think that the fighters in there sometimes go through allot for us. If any of them do duck fighters or go for the big money then fair play to them. Although as fans lets call it when they do duck

The great man was talking about his career. I think Foreman gets very underated, yes he was a massive puncher but he was also a fantastic pressure fighter and could throw punches at any range pretty much. His punch technique is very good, he wasn't simply wild.

I saw some of it, was watching his fight with Ted Gullick, haven't really seen many (any?) of Foremans early fights but although he won in the 2nd he was quite easy to hit and shipped quite a few from the mobile Gullick but was just too big and strong for him.
But looking at that you can see how an Ali could beat him, not sure if this was representative of his other early fights.
Mind you he was an absolute destroyer when he moved up against Frazier & Norton so I guess most people thought he was going to batter Ali based on those performances...
