Abraham,Huck-Tockarev,Povetkin coming in April

Just noticed this in the schedule. Should be a cracking card. Huck-Tockarev is good old-fashioned proppa eliminator for the IBF title. Abraham "returns" after the fight with Miranda, and Povetkin should also continue his excellent progress vs TBA.

Huck-Tokarev has already been discussed (but pray continue that here if you so wish)

Abraham I suspect will be a fairly routine defence (Do you know that Scott Dann and Howard Eastman could feasibly get a call up? jeezo. Eastman wasn't even ranked in January, but now he leapfrogs Sebastian Demers. That'll teach the Canadian right for beating Ian MacKillop in three rounds since January, whilst Eastman has somehow impressed the IBF ratings committee with the exlemplary fashion in which he has remained innactive.

Huck-Tokarev looks a good fight. Huck is starting to throw some very good combinations. This is a proper fight, almost a strange one because this is a fight in which the home boy could get spanked.

I think Tokarev has the goods. Maybe he's flattered by the KO wins over Cora Jr & Schwartz. But this is backed up by fights with Sims and Bell End Darnell Wilson. Tokarev looks pretty complete and powerful.

He was under 190 in his last fight, which is good to see. Toda's cruisers are starting to look a little wide.

Germany is leading the way in Europe for competitive fights and Denmark is doing well too. Huck-Tokarev is a good old fashioned fight for a world title, not a WBU strap in sight. Could go either way that one, i have only seen Tokarev once against Swartz and he looked good but he didn't have much to deal with. Huck has always liked to bully his opponents but Aurino was finding flaws in his style before he bailed out unceremoniously.

Povetkin is being brought along nicely, good win last time over Bostice. He is stepping up well each time and even his keep busy fights are against reasonable opposition for a novice. Won't be long before he is in contention for the European title.
