kotelnik just don't let go enuff.My T Sharp wrote:Yep fair result.J-C wrote:Fook
Fair result in the end I guess.
It's the second time I have seen Kotelnik and he has fallen short both times. If he would have just given a bit extra I reckon he would have beat M'Baye (and Witter before that).
if u can't take more risks against a pea shooter like m'baye then u never will.
crap fight.

was it FVCK fair. Kotelnik controlled the pace all night and should've been at least 3 points clear. He blocked most of M'baye's best shots and was the effective aggressor.
Souleymane was made to look like a clueless slickster. Undeserving bugger - again.
M'baye had to react all the way through and no way was the Frog assertive enough. Vann was right to have it by 5, that was the most realistic score. That was utter shit to give it a draw.
fvck that

couldn't understand why they went with m'baye on that rd.
but a lot of the others were real debateable.
I think M'baye had 2 great rounds & at best won 3 more. Rest of the way I had the edge to Kotelnik. This guy deserves a break. Let these bastards fight in Germany where they play on an even playing field (LOL).
All his losses are in close ones away from home which tells a fair bit.
Kotelnik didn't get the nod because he isn't flashy and he doesn't hit hard. But in terms of effective aggression & rig generalship the Rusky was on the G spot. Shame that the judges & commentators CREAMED all over the wrong guy.

Duke McKenzie is awful for doing that. He made out that M'Baye had dominated the first 6, then they put his scorecard up on screen and he only had M'Baye 1 ahead.viciousmaussa wrote:I think M'baye had 2 great rounds & at best won 3 more. I'm not sure about the aggressiveness that Kotelnik shows. Most of the time it was just standing in the middle of the ring, covered up. I'm not sure of the stats but M'baye probably threw more shots.viciousmaussa wrote:I think M'baye had 2 great rounds & at best won 3 more. Rest of the way I had the edge to Kotelnik. For me neither fighter did enough to take the title, but you're right about the commentary...M'baye looked piss poor but they were loving him.
Do you think Amir Khan is going to adopt the M'Baye style, considering that they have the same trainer...I hope not.
I think MB looked poor because AK cut off the ring on him, made him work when he didn't want to, and kept on getting to him.My T Sharp wrote:I'm not sure about the aggressiveness that Kotelnik shows.
