you shouldnt really be getting caught with a leaping left hook like that in the first place... backing up to the ropes with your gloves low is a cardinal sin

The initial hook was standard stuff but the follow up's were nothing special at all, i dont think Austin was overly keen to make it up before the count.

We desperately need some unification match ups asap with Peter in the mix aswell.

I dunno, I think the force of the first one was amplified by Austin moving towards the hook and it catching him bang on the chin (just over his glove, which was raised, but not far enough). Had he been taking care of himself, it would have been a good, but not fight ending shot.

Klitschko didn't throw a single right hand all night - why he'd be that cautious of mixing it up with a fighter so obviously scared of him is beyond me.

Kind of puts Ibragimov's performance against Austin into perspective. Austin certainly looked like he was milking that knock down... anyone would think he had had enough.

Yep it does...previous shows Austin does have a fighting heart, and his dumbfounded look, as he lifts his head off the canvas, shows he really was blindsided I think.

Full "fight" is on youtube - I don't think Wlad threw a SINGLE right hand all night.

So he literally could have won with one hand tied behind his back I guess.

Austin never beat anybody to earn his mandatory, and the IBF gave us here another GREAT example of how pathetic most of this sh#t is.

Fight was an absolute farce.

Ha Ha, the fact it wasn't even "bum of the month" makes it worse, top fighters fight every 4-5 months these days if we are lucky so the fact he is wasting time with a bum makes it harder to watch!
