Hatton & Fight Academy?

Ricky & Fight Academy have been together for three fights now. Do you think there's scope for a long relationship between the two, or will Ricky soon be looking to go elsewhere? I giess it all comes down to £.

I've heard rumours that Hatton may not actually have ben paid all the money he's due for his fights since joining Fight Academy & that Fight Academy are not earning anything?

i think they'll stick it out.

hatton going to goldenboy is the only possibility i think.

marco antonio barrera may try and persuade him.

He will go to Arum.

And the not being paid rumour is gaining momentum too. Still if he hasn't been paid he isn't going to go anywhere yet I suppose.

Arum is probably the best player for the weight he's fighting at, the only thing is it will preclude any bouts being made against Golden boy, thought seeing as they have Witter, that's not really a problem.

However, if he hasn't been paid in full, then there's no reason he couldn't just leave and then take them to court for the money. Of course, this is only rumour, I've not seen anything to confirm this is the case, so god knows.

What's going on with Main Events, has Gary Shaw gone it alone now?

I think the Hattons like complete control of the opponents the big chunk of the pay from the event and no one will match what Hobson and Co have offered them. At the moment Hatton can fight C Class opponents for around 80-90% of the purse, which in turn the promoters make little to nothing off. Arrum/Golden Boy will want a larger share of the profits and want him to fight better opponents if he wants the sort of purses Hobson was offering.

What if the unthinkable happens and Hatton goes to Warren. We can have Hatton-Mbaiye for the WBA and Hatton can fight in the MEN again. Relatively easy unification and a Hatton-Khan fight in 2-3years from now.

Hatton will be retired before Khan is near ready for him. I doubt Ricky will be fighting in 3 years time, and if he is, he will probably be looking for one last huge payday. He's what, nearly 29 is it, I think he'll retire before 32. Three fights is what Graham and Hatton have been talking about.

They won't retire when they're still winning though imo and they will want to go out on 1 massive payday. Maybe they'll try to make Castillo a rematch or trilogy. Or look for a final match up with Mayweather/DLH. Expect a few more easy fights in between to maximise the cash cow.

I very much doubt Hatton would get back with Warren btw just thought it would be interesting if they did
