Maybe he will get into shape and look for a rematch with big John McDermott! I would pay NOT to see that one.

Well for all his shortcomings Paul has got some balls getting into the ring, and he never looks for an easy way out, usually tries to see it through to the final bell.

Yep your totally right, he went 4 with Kelvin Davis too i have respect for the man wasn't demeaning his balls it was more tongue in cheek because of the amount of smothering and scrappiness in that particular bout.

yeah i know what you mean, he's not the prettiest to watch, and when he leaves his chin so high its amazing he's gone the distance so many times.
Thought Mcdermott was awful against him though, its as if he's not learnt anything in the last year.

Have to agree, McDermott is treading water and i think he is English title level at best, he just looks like a chunky school bully in there.

Pele Reid managed to take him out - the finish resembled the felling of a giant oak tree - but up to that point he had given Pele plenty to think about.

I think King gets a lot of stick for HOW he looks rather then his ability, or lack there of.

What a finish from Mr Reid that night, eh, Dan!

He had looked mediocre, waited too long and posed for the previous five but Pele has the power to knock down the walls of a city. Paul King's face when he was on the floor was a picture - "what the hell was that."

Paul isn't that bad, and had obviously done his homework - looking to catch Pele with huge haymakers - although Pele avoided them well.
