Millenium Show - It gets better
So we already have numerous poorly matched fights, and now lets add another to the equation:
Bradley Pryce Vs Thomas Awinbono

Never fought out of Ghana.
It has to be said ITV don't have a fkin clue - This is a terrible bill of mismatches, most probably a world record.
shocking.

Didn't Ress win quite handily last time though, admittedly though I think he came in heavy and had a few unfair advantages.oliverfennell wrote:17 fights on the bill now.
I'm sure most people would rather see six good matches than 15 poor ones.
Watson-Rees is a good one, though, as is Takaloo-Jennings.
id rather see one good match. if it was not free to see that show, i wouyld rather watch a re-run of earl katsidis, short as it wasoliverfennell wrote:17 fights on the bill now.

I certainly understand your frustration and see your point but we must do all we can to keep boxing on ITV and a slump in viewing figures would probably end it - Pressure needs to be put on FW to give us 50/50 fights instead of the forgone conclusions he keeps dishing up - Wouldnt be surprised to see Skelton v Williams three being announced after Dannys comeback and no doubt Harrison will be back on the bill at some time - The man does need to listen to the fans or he could lose his contract with ITV - There are fights we do want to see and fights we dont - ITV would love to see Haye v Mac just as we all would but with two promoters who dont see eye to eye there isnt any chance (many of us wrote to ITV about getting this fight on)- Its the same situation with Calzaghe and Froch, ITV wants it and so do we but purses and boxing politics wont allow it to happen - We need another great history making domestic matchup like Eubank v Benn but there isnt any sign of such a fight happening - Hatton v Witter could be that fight but as we all know its not going to come off - FW does need to do a lot better and try to negotiate with other promoters, if not the ITV axe will fall and that will be that.mad gear gang wrote:the title of this thread looked ominous.
Would be good if ppl boycotted Warren's shows. Rubbish matchups. Can "regular fans" see through all this bollocks?
That's fair enough but what's the excuse for the piss poor WBU fights?boxingchat wrote:Neri wrote:6-1-1
Oh dear. Shouldn't the Commonwealth be interfering with this matchmaking? Surely this is not worthy?
He is a Commonwealth nominated mandatory!
