15 rounds and beyond

Does anyone know what the last world title fight to go 15 rounds was? And the last one to be scheduled for 15 (if a different fight) And the last world title fight to go beyond 15? And the last to be scheduled for beyond 15 (again if a different fight). Thanks guys.

There is constant dispute and arguement on this.

To the best of the information and recollection I have, it was Jorge Paez vs Calvin Grove in July of 1988

If anyone knows of one later then that, please let me know too.

The Paez Grove fight was both the last schedaled 15 rounder, and the last fight to actually go 15

I beleive the last schedualed 20 rounder was Joe Louis vs Bob Pastor in 1939

The last fight that actually went 20 rounds ?

Sorry, called in the cavalry on this one.... I am told that this is incorrect, and in fact, Louis even had a fight two years later set for 20 rounds, and that may not have been the last one ever.

I did confirm the Paez-Grove fight though

If I recall the last Heavywieght champion to actually go the full 20 rounds was Max Baer, though it was before he became champ.
