Danny Williams didn't turn up to the head-to-head press conference yesterday citing personal problems.

Cheers for the info.

I think I am turning paranoid after the amount of recent bouts which have been postponed

The only "trouble" with this fight is the next day broadcasting on the Beeb. I mean okay it's a superb British heavyweight title match-up and they're probably looking for more viewers that at 11:15pm on a friday night but come on, I don't think I can stand to hear that chubby horse racing woman talk about boxing again.

Should be bloody well live on the night. Christ it's not like either fighter has been lacking in build up. And it's hard to imagine the fight itself not delivering excitment.

I can't believe they're not screening the best domestic heavyweight showdown for years 'live'.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. The BBC know absolutely nothing about boxing.

Having listened to Clare Balding (I think thats her name) for years on Radio thinking to myself - "what a complete upper-class horsey-type tottie" - Imagine my surprise to discover what a horse-faced bludger she actually is.

took me years to get over that one.

The BBC simply show some parts of some fights; that's it.
They don't promote/advertise them at all. The only time I discover boxing on BBC is if someone on the boards posts the times. I just don't understand what they expect to get from showing it when they put so little in.

I prefer SKY.

Skys coverage is loads better, the BBC seem to have gone into boxing half-heartedly. The only reason I know Walker Vs Karmazin is on primetime is due to the boixing forums, there has been no advertising of this fight
