Thaxton v John Murray

Post by sweetscience »

i dont think there has been much chat about these two squaring off

Murray has been a pro for quite alot longer than Khan, and has had more bouts etc

whats your thoughts ?

Thaxton by KO.

Murray Is too easy to hit for a domestic veteran like Thaxton.

Yeah, I think Thaxton - although with Jon he is a bit of a timebomb the way he cuts up these days.

Do you think Murray has the potential to develop into a fighter to beat the likes of thaxton?

Maybe a bit further down the line, but not right now. Too easy to hit, and doesn't hit particularly hard.

This will be a good fight, I think. I take Murray to just edge it.

I would favour Thaxton over Murray and strongly favour him over Earl. Am i the only one who thought Earl sounded punchy BEFORE he fought Katsidis?

Murray is new to the weight and along way from the likes of Thaxton.

Like lots here I think the situation with Khan is just plain silly, he has been built into a prospect before he has really shown anything as a pro, Murray has shown more but still not enough to really put him in the bracket of future champion.

Thaxton destroys either one...quite easilly also :-?
