Don Broadhurst
He was a good amateur, winning national titles and also a Commonwealth Gold medal, has now had 3 fights as a Pro, winning all on points!
How far do you think he can go in the Pro Game?

Don BroadhurstMy nx fight sat june 18th, tower ballroom edgebaston, birmingham. 6.30 start. 6 other bouts includin local lads frm my gym. Tickets normal £30, ringside table £450 for 10 ppl, £50 ringside seats. Gna b a gd nyt so spread the word as gna put on a class performance 4 my loyal fans.
Re: Don Broadhurst
I take it bigger promoters have deserted him then as he is on the small hall circuit then.
I fought at the Tower once, fab little venue, Legs 11 were doing the Card Girls and were offering free transport and half price curry to the strip club

Re: Don Broadhurst
He has not been very active these last few years so I think he has taken it upon himself to find some action. He is fighting a kid that beat him twice in the ams I think.

Re: Don Broadhurst
Has lost his last 2 fights and only 1 fight since Dec 2009, both to good opponents... Now he's with Farrnell and training with good Fella's this will show in his fights and bring the best out of him,,, imo for his size he should be a Fly weight, easy me saying that i dont know what weight he goes up to but if Antony can get Bellew to L-Heavy then im sure it would'nt be a problem Don makig Fly, one win at Fly and he is in the Title mix right away, Edwards British Champion and im sure Ashley Sexton will be Commonwealth would love to see Don in with either of them

I don't know what went wrong in the Lee Haskins fight, but Don was awful (i think he'd agree).
Hopefully he's got the desire back into his game, as that seemed to be lacking in the 2 defeats

I expected big things of him in the pro game, watched him a fair bit when he was in the Ams&thought he would suit the pros but he has failed to deliver, perhaps he lacks the dedication for the pros....

Dont think he was lacking desire, Haskins would make Mayweather look bad thats the reason we have'nt seen him again on Sky they wont have him, and Ali is a lot better then people think iv done tons of sparring with him, if Ali was fit and at 8 stone he'd clear up....
TommyGuns i thought the same 3 fights

Yeah, I found out last week. Should of posted. He is still contracted to FW for a few years yet. And he is game for this Prizefighter at Fly too.
