Managers and Cut-Men
Managers and Cut-Men
I've just moved to London and would like to know who is the best independent manager in town, that is, someone not directly linked to allegedly, Barry Hearn, etc. I would also like to know who is the best cut-man in the business over here? I've heard that Dennie Mancini is very good, I've met him a few times and seems a great guy but how good is he with cuts???????

Dennie spends much of his time in Germany now, and rarely works British fights. As Stu said, Mick Williamson is THE man. He got deserved praise for controlling Ricky Hatton's cut against Vince Phillips, but the way he controlled Eamonn Magee's cuts in his European title challenge to Oktay Urkal was just as praiseworthy. Magee was cut in the very first round...

Re: Managers and Cut-Men
Manage yourself and get trained by Adam Booth (who would unofficially manage you anyway). Booth also trains Danny Williams, David Haye and Stephen Smith.Birch wrote:Thanks for the info on cuts, any thoughts on a good manager???
