Biggest wager on a fight.
Having put up a thread about the calzaghe fight betting it brought me to remember i have only ever predicted one correct round.
Lennox Lewis v Derek Williams round 3 for Lewis. i cant remember the price but i think it was around 6/1. any way i won a few quid.
Has anyone one else won much on a fight.

My biggest win was £25 on 25-1 on a draw between taylor and wright...
And had also put (admittedly only £2) on a Draw / Virchis win over Vidoz.
I think the pay off was £96 for the £2 bet...
I do make money every year (not a lot, but enough to buy a nice TV) - biggest loss wa £200 on Brudov to beat Hill.....(put on when drunk.)

right guys lets get down to business.
i think i'm gonna put a ton on enzo in rd 1 on hills
gunn looks to have the perfect record for a one round demise, only wins vs 0-6-2 guys, seemingly grounded to one area on small shows, clubfighter etc.
is there anything about this guys fight history that suggests he can get out of that first round, or more worryingly WILL ENZO HOLD BACK FOR ANY REASON?
oh and the best bet i made in terms of odds was johnson TKO9 Jones at 100/1, put a quid on 7, 8, 9 and 10 and was kicking myself for not putting on more afterwards as I really thought glen would stop him late.

I reckon old Gunn is gonna come out all guns blazing for this one giving Enzo no choice but to knock him out as soon as possible.
Got my money on a first round KO will a little bit on 2 to cover myself. Come on Enzo don't let us down.
Also agree with Ian about going for the underdog. I like to point out I picked Sanders to beat Wlad and Forrest to beat Mosley (not with the bookies though) and not mention the amount of times my underdog has gone down without a fight...

I m not sure if i want to reverse it now. Greed has taken over.
This is a pickle.
i wanted to cover it with a hedge on rd 2 as well but thats gonna cost me 40 quid now.
incidentally, my bet has actually made my post in this thread relevant

to see FW spontaneously combust more like lol, his head would probably just go POP!Ally-M1 wrote:That's amusing...MightyWarrior wrote:I like Enzo, but because this is such a cynical mismatch, part of me wouldn't mind seeing Gunn get lucky and chin Enzo, just to see what colour Frank's face turns ringside
My da had money on Audley KO3 Williams, think it was 12/1 but not sure. As anyone who looks at the PTBF will guess i have no joy betting on boxing, I am more succesful on the dogs and the mighty hammers (for some reason i manage to back our wins pretty well, i had 8-1 1-0 vs Arsenal, 22-1 1-0 vs Man U and NRC scoring first, and the other day got 7-1 2-0 vs Boro) Ive lost money this season, but i have a cunning plan for next year which should see me absolutely COIN it in, i will let you know if it works lol
