Boxrec Ratings used an home advantage factor before - and Layla McCarter's rating was considerably improved by it.

Now this factor was dropped - as it also produced some strange impact to the ratings - moving up some boxers to ranks, they definitely didn't achieve.

From my perspective, Layla MacCarter may well have achieved her #1 ranking.

But, in doubt, we dropped the home factor at all - and everybody is left now to make up his own opinion regarding the impact of home advantage to the rating of a particular boxer.

The overall rating method was changed, so her older wins in Japan and Canada lost some of their point value.
