all that flurrying will get him nowhere at top level.
tough to judge at this stage though.
would he settle down more when he steps up in class.
he flaming better.
Khan is no way going to be a World Champion, imo.
He is a flighty little sod - but he is all hype.
Lightweight will be beyond him in 12 months, Lt Welter? - he gets stopped
Khan has not even been hit as a pro, has he????

It's reached the point where I want to fight Khan, because I know I could last a few half-decent rounds! If we ignore the fact I'm a touch heavier at 155.
Honestly, growing up I admired everyone who stepped in against the likes of Benn and Jackson. Although they were middleweights to be fair. Point is, you could probably go into an average pub and offer £500 to a thin bloke to fight Khan, and you'd have people accepting. How much is £500 to try your luck with a young Hearns?

I thought Bull took a dive to be honest. He didn't throw a meaningful punch all night. He waited for a flurry (which slow motion showed to be barely landing, nothing flush anyway), saw it as his chance to get out of there and folded over and quit. Nine out of ten average 140lb guys off the street could have taken that punishment and not gone down.
He turned up to get his money and didn't try to win the fight. He should be ashamed.

It was a shot to the left kidney I think, which does hurt, but it was so obvious Bull wouldn't consider continuing under any form of adversity.
Poor show to be honest. I don't blame Bull himself too much; it was a nice payday. Why can't people keep the lid on hype these days though? Herol Graham was leagues ahead of Khan, yet still didn't quite make it at world level.

Willie is a decent counter puncher but is too small and wont be able to counter effectively due to Khan's speed.Max Molyneux wrote:I agree that Bull mostly wanted to spoil and take the cash.
I think Limond would be a great step up for Khan.
It wont be anything like competitive I am afraid.
Bull was already retired - tonight just proved that.
Powell needs to pull his finger out of his arse and start making some proper fights, not duping the paying public like the are at the moment.
Murray has said he'll fight Khan, so let's see it. He's the same size, he's the same age, but more importantly, he's a young lad with a future ahead of him who'd try to win. In any sensible world, this would be made to judge who was going somewhere. Instead we'll never see it because of 'promotional difficulties', or because it doesn't 'make financial sense'
For what it's worth, I think Khan would win. But wouldn't it be nice to see two young prospects actually let us know who's better?

Khan needs a decent counter puncher and small or not he's a natural Lightweight now.TerribleTerry wrote:Willie is a decent counter puncher but is too small and wont be able to counter effectively due to Khan's speed.Max Molyneux wrote:I agree that Bull mostly wanted to spoil and take the cash.

I agree that Powell and Warren need to choose the right opponents but then they go too far with the likes of Gunn.

yeah good spot.Grilling Machine wrote:Khan could've put Bull away inside 90 seconds tonight, if he had a left hook. He doesn't. You can see it in how he tries to manoeuvre everyone onto the straight right.
He has two world-class attributes: speed and fitness.
maybe we'll see a bit more of what he has in fights where he isn't just expected to bowl em over.
we'll see.

imagine what someone like guzman would do.DG. wrote:Beat Torres?.mcriss wrote:i think he's a good looking fighter, very tall like a corrales, but should go to 140,i def. think he could beat a torres, just not a witter or harris yet but in a yr. or two he'll be the real deal.
Whatever you are smoking, pass some to Fwank Warren.
all the flurrying from khan would be countered bigtime.
he'll soon be wbo lightweight champ.
Yep. It's so fornicating depressing. The F.A. get some (deserved) stick, but at least when they say Man U. have to play Chelsea, you know it'll happen. The BBBofC should be ordering the likes of Khan and Murray to fight each other, with the winner moving towards a shot at the Lonsdale belt.
I'm preaching to the converted here, but it gets on my tits so much.
