On later after Calzaghe (about 90 minutes time), it's not televised so look out for the result on Boxrec or allegedly.tv

It's just exhibition boxing tonight, Frank is just putting on a bit of a show for the HBO guys it seems.
The Americans won't be fooled by national pride or whatever. They'll see through this shit for the joke it is.

I just don't understand it. They get this big primetime slot on American and British tv and instead of putting on an amazing memorable card he fills it with total trash matchups.

People love to critisize Don King and Bob Arum. But those guys for the most part deliver the goods. If they got a slot like this the card would be stacked.

This whole card was a kick in the teeth for boxing fans. I have barely ever seen a worse supposed "big card". They took the money and ran.

I'm sure we'll all extra glad we didn't make the journey to Cardiff.

It was a little embarrassing the way the replay slowed that last flurry moslty missing.

But he should have known that crouching down with your hands up for 30secs in the face of a slapping tornado is just asking for a stoppage if you're fighting Calzaghe in Wales.

O'Connor needs reminding, this is boxing. Punches are thrown and landed. Jesus, he is an ex-pro himself he should know.

If all referees made stoppages like that we would never see a fight again nevermind a Gatti-Ward type thriller. Boxing would literally die.

Calzaghe was on his way to knocking out Manfredo Jnr but to just say the ref saved Peter from the inevitable cuts no ice.

Next it MUST be Kessler or Taylor. Maybe Hopkins. Anything else will not do and waste another few months of Joe's career.
