I was at Cardiff on Sarturday. Just before Enzo there must have been about 20,000 and Tony came on against Derek Chisora and entertained the crowd no end pulling of all the moves, Ali shuffle big faines, bolo punches the lot. What a great of the British scene he is!

Tony is great for boxing, I was at Doncaster when he knocked out Billy Wilson, Tony was putting a show on that night too, the hull shuffle popped out once or twice.
I've boxed on a couple of the same shows as Tony too, he's a right laugh.
After the Billy Wilson win I congratulated Tony on his 50th win and he said "Is it?" he clearly wasn't that bothered or maybe even wasn't aware.

hahaha gwon Derek!
He lives in my area - a couple of years ago I foolishly asked him to come down to my gym for some sparring - I was doing kickboxing, but everyone was a bit smaller/even crapper than me, so i was looking for someone to spar with.
He bashed me, it was awesome. I've never been hit that hard before or since. Beat me around, then wobbled me badly with a right hand to my cheek bone and pretty much finished the job. Either I'm a complete pussy, or he hits quite hard (probably a bit of both
)
He'd not done any wrestling since he was a kid doing judo - I'd been doing bits of submission here or there - so we rolled a bit afterwards and he kicked my arse at that too LOL
Good bloke. Best of luck with the pro career!

TONY BOOTH
I REMEMBER THE NIGHT TONY BOXED BIG BAD JOHN MC DERMOT AT THE YORK HALL I POPPED IN TO A CAFE AROUND THE CORNER FOR A CUPPER JUST AS THE FIRST FIGHT WAS STARTING AND THE FIRST PERSON I SEE WAS TONEY BOOTH EATING THE BIGGEST BACON SANDWICH YOU EVER SEE I SAID TO HIM WHO YOU SUPPORTING TONIGHT (THINKING HE MUST BE THERE TO WATCH SOMEONE ELSE) HE LOOKED AT ME SMILED AND SAID NO ONE IM ON IN A HOUR NEEDLESS TO SAY HE GOT STOPPED THAT NIGHT BUT WHAT A GUY

Tony Booth was the opponent on the night Junior McDonald made his debut at the Elephant and Castle and I was there to film it. Glyn Evans reminded Tony that he was on a £500 bonus for beating McDonald "Oh yeah" said Tony "If I win you'd better come and help me get the money"
He did the whole lot that night, Hull shuffle, windmills, chatting to the crowd during clinches. He lost on points over 4 and got the ovation of the night when he left the ring. He was credited as Tony "The Entertainer" Booth on the film, class act.
