We've all been low on Sakio Bika after his poor fight with Calzaghe. In that fight he showed none of the jab and little of the assertive potential he hinted at in the Beyer fight. Though I felt he won three of the late rds vs Joe and it was a good learning experience.
In his defense, he appears awesomely tough, durable and physically strong. Can he sharpen up technically?
Anyway, he's won a couple of fights since then, including a 1 sided win over Andre Thysse. Ring magazine now rate him as the #10 contender at 168-pounds. He fights Canadian prospect Lucian Bute in June in an IBF eliminator.
Can Psykio do it? Bute won't have his usual big height advantage and Lucian isn't knocking them out like he used to.
