I just don't like the way fans and the press call him a freak etc. Even Boxing News called him The Incredable Hulk, very tacky of them I thought. It's not his fauly he is so huge, the guy may be way short of a future all time great but he CAN fight and has learnt to use his size to his advantage.
If people had called Ady Lewis or Baby Jake Matlala etc Dwarfs, midgits etc many fans would have been offended so why is Valuev fair game to any insult fans and the media deem to throw at him?
I TAKE IT WE ALL WANT CHAGAEV TO SLAY THE BEAST..?

he was also good enuf to win a competitive decision over ruiz...whatever that's worth!!Max Molyneux wrote:I'd say his chin has only looked good because no one has an easy time reaching In with enough power.
Chagaev doesn't have the speed or headmovement Ruiz had when he outboxed Valuev either.
Chagaev's good on the Inside but Valuev can spoil that with size and holding.
people tend to sympathize with the undersized/underdog...the gigantic oaf like valuev is viewed as more of a goliath---hairy back and all.KOJOE90 wrote:I just don't like the way fans and the press call him a freak etc. Even Boxing News called him The Incredable Hulk, very tacky of them I thought. But beating Ruiz on his own terms is good, i.e. in close, inside - without making the fight a total stinker.shoutout2u wrote:he was also good enuf to win a competitive decision over ruiz...whatever that's worth!!Max Molyneux wrote:I'd say his chin has only looked good because no one has an easy time reaching In with enough power.
