No doubt Fwank wanted options on him.

I'm sure, Mbaiye is a much easier fight than Harris

Did not go to bids,mate.

Hennessey came to an agreement with Shaw bewfiore it went to bids, no idea how much though, I hope at least £150k for Witter, hopefully, but not likely.

Maybe £100k?

Good question, though.

65K, is that all? before or after tax?

That cant be right surely... do sky, ads, sponsorhsip contribute to a fighters overall purse, or purely the gate?

So your admitting Witter would have to give options to fight Mbaiye - wouldn't this be betraying Henessey? You seemed very much against betrayal in the Hatton case. And I'm not so sure 'options' are the industry standard for unification fights. And if they are options what money was Witter been offered for future bouts?

danny Williams only got 125k for fighting tyson - that was before tax, trainers fee's, expenses etc... Didnt Spinks and / or Judah only collect something like 100 odd k (dollars) for their unification bout?

If you have enough clout as a promoter to cajole someone into signing them.

Think Judah got US$100k or was for their first fight while Spinks made 7 figures. It wasn't a unification fight though and Judah was the challenger each time.

At least Judah takes the small money for his shots. I'd like to see Judah take out Cotto, hes always fought the best and has so much talent.

I think so but not 100%, Spinks is a pretty big earner who can draw massive crowds in his home town. He had all the belts and all the cards at WW at that time

Spinks isn't a draw outside of his home town. Most fighters are the same in the states though, there aren't many who can draw flies to shit.
