The Super heavies and open and the 201's are low this year. Not even one match in the pre-lims. I remeber last year I had 3 to win, now im not here the field is down, looks like 2 this year or even one to win, wish more heavies would get involved in competitve boxing in chicago land area.

UK is no different, Heavyweights and Super-Heavyweights are slim here... Competition coming up soon and currently, only myself confirmed at Heavy..!

If past competitions are anything to go by, (from helping at weigh-ins etc) the Heavy's will be plumped up by overweight light-heavys, coming in at a soft 84/85 KG's.

Derek Zugic at 178 and Erik Correa at 201 + are in the finals. Blake Reed ? 201# is also, maybe he won already with only 2 201# entering.

Roberts - just because he only had to win 1 bout to get there doesn't mean that he isn't an excellent boxer. Sometimes the best boxers have an easy time of it as potential opponents move out of their weight class or don't enter the tournament. Andre Dirrell had that happen a few times in tournaments in Michigan. Now, having said all that, it is also quite possible that Reed isn't that great and will have difficulty at the Nationals. I don't know since I've never seen him box nor even heard of him until this year's Chicago GG.
