Khan Limmond

Post by Wales »

Quite a few are still dissapointed with Willie as an opponent for Khan. Personally I think its a more than adequete test for his 12th (or is it 13th?) fight. Ive no doubt if John Murray was fighting Limmond most would comment that its a good test.

So, for those who arent happy with the opponent, one name below on who YOU would put khan in with in his next fight...

The thing is Murray has already been in with a very tough opponent in Mendoza. John has proved himself.

Khan still hasn't boxed anyone remotely standing a chance of winning or even making a good argument because they are avoiding boxers who carry a fair whack on them.

Khan should go in with Murray next. Amir already looks good enough to box for the British title so get in him with a live contender, which Murray is.

If Murray was to box Limmond next, I WOULD be dissapointed because it would be a foregone conslusion. Limmond simply isn't good enough beat Khan hence the mass negative reaction.

The best thing I can say about Khan-Limmond is that we could have got a worse match put together. I can't get excited about this one though and whole thing has a very negative feel about it.

but, from the tons of hateful spite that followed khans last outting on this site with many people rubbishing his talent, we are now getting people saying he will beat limmond easily. either he's rubbish or he's good enough to beat willie limond in his 12th fight (which proves something) you cant have it both ways.

Nothing wrong with Limmond. He's a winner and can do the distance.

ehh Arthur chinned him!!

Still think it's a good live opponent for a change. For gods sake he's the current Commonwealth Champ!!

Don't think they should put him in with Murray yet, as they are both developing youngsters, and it would ruin one of them!!

Let em face off in a year or two for the best of British bragging rights, that would be soooo much better than the precotious kids avin a scrap!!

Stick Khan in with the winner of Juan Diaz/Ancelino Frietas or Joel Casamayor... Khan reckons he's the best so why not fight them.?!

I know they couldn't make those fights but it be certain (in my eyes) that Khan would get KO'd cold...

He steps up and meets someone with a dig who can take his shots, he's had it - he'll pay for boxing small, soft punching guys for so long.

Yeah, I tried to put ( and lasted 8 ) but if you put the bracket tight to the 8 it gives you a 8)
