Limond wont fight, will run, Khan will slap him around with a pitty pat flurry for the early ref-assisted stoppage, John Rawling and Barry McGuigan all hail King Khan, the greatest fighting machine ever crafted, so great he doesn't even need to prove it versus anyone.

Khan will not fight anyone who can..

1) Come to win.

2) Punch.

I have no faith in Khan or Warren.

But I am sure Khan gets stopped oncw he steps up, Limondwill run lkuke the wind, but I am past caring now.

(Khan should watch a few Patterson interviews actually; the man had exceptional character.)

Arthur gives Khan warning over Limond
BRIAN DONALD - Scotsman

CAPITAL boxing star Alex Arthur believes Amir Khan has a tough fight on his hands.

Khan will challenge Glasgow's Commonwealth lightweight champion Willie Limond in London on July 14 for his crown and Arthur feels sure the best the Bolton man and Olympic silver medallist can hope for is a win on points.

Responding to his own Sportsnetwork management team's announcement yesterday that Khan would challenge Limond Arthur said: "Although I stopped Willie Limond in July 2004 at Renfrew inside eight rounds Willie was never off his feet and I'm a much heavier puncher than Amir Khan is so I'm confident that Khan won't deck or stop Willie Limond who is a really tough guy and accomplished boxer.

"It's not even a foregone conclusion that Khan will win on July 14.''

And Arthur added: "I like Amir Khan but I was amused by some sources describing Khan as Willie Limond's classiest ever opponent - they seem to have forgotten all about me."'

Meanwhile, allegedly's spokesman Richard Maynard confirmed: "allegedly is poised to make a major announcement very soon about Alex Arthur's next opponent.''

Without sounding on the fence it will be points or KO. Comfortable decision or KO.

Might depend on how compassionate the ref is.

Don't think Khan will knock Limond clean out, but could put him down for the count via body shots and just being too damn big mid/late rounds.

I certainly think that Limond will feel mighty relieved if he does hear the final bell and we will be praising his toughness.

Khan is a big, big lightweight.

Limond is decent but this is the wrog opponent for him.

?Is Limond a true lightweight or blown up 130 pounder thats what im getting at. Limonds record looks good but he has made 130 fairly easy on many occasions.

He may have won the title but he fought at 130 2 fights ago and has fought at 130 numerous times. Its still a natural 135 pounder against a 130 pounder.

Nah Limond's a genuine Lightweight who couldn't make Super Feather anymore plus It's only a 5 pound move up In weight.

Plus the body gets denser with age so he's no blown up fighter.

sorry Max I don't understand how Arthur having him out on his feet proves he can take a punch? Also you say it's only 5 pounds but that can add up to a lot. Remember how hard Ricky found it 7 pounds north

Depends on your definition of "best" - if its top 6 or 7 then yes. If its 3 or 4 I'm not so sure Limond fits into that category.

5 LBS at the lower weights is a Big difference... It's only when you start going up the weights that the effect is reduced.

I also don't agree that Limond is one of the best British Lightweights... He's decent enough but not one of the best.
