5lbs Is not 7lbs and Hatton's problem was a lack of defense and fighting a southpaw and Hatton threw on another 11lbs after the Callazo weigh In. Hatton usually goes In at 11st 4lbs so I don't see how he was affected by a higher weight while Luis was 11st 2lbs.

LOL what a bizarre statement, such belief that he will be stopped, that he will be found out, that he is incapable. It is one thing to state that you feel he is untested, but as such one cannot state with such adamance that he is no good. Clearly he is VERY good, worldclass...who knows? But he has speed, confidence, slick skills, but of course is still relatively untested and at an early stage in his pro career. What we do know is what he is good at, we know he was a promising amatuer, we know he did well at the olympics and not bad against Kindelyn.

Comments like yours cannot be respected because of your heavy unsubstantiated bias Im afraid.

His next fight IS a decent match-up, without question. Of course, it will not be a particularly good test in terms of Khan's chin, but there are many other positive elements to the fight. I honestly could not say whether or not he will be great at taking heavy punches, we will have to see as he starts to fight for more titles, but at this stage of career it is entirely appropriate for his next fight.

I enjoy watching Khan fight, in fact, I enjoy just about any boxing that terestrial provide us with. Khan is an exciting prospect, but yes, definately far from tested. Personally, I prefer to encourage the lad, get behind him and enjoy the fights. Lot of jealousy and bitterness from people like yourself, bit embarrassing really.

He may have won the title but he fought at 130 2 fights ago and has fought at 130 numerous times. Its still a natural 135 pounder against a 130 pounder.

LOL behave! If he wants to fight at that weight then good on him!!! There are no clear cut rules on this! He's a decent fighter who has a belt! Of coruse fighters range within specific weighting bands for all types of reasons and weight does not equate to clear cut advantage - any bugger knows that! Look at Holyfield, a natural cruiser, but still did it with the big boys and was a deserved guvnor.

You are really trying to hard with this type of argument, much better to concede that KHan's next opponent is decent!

Ricky is short and has a short reach - At welter he is a little guy - He isnt that big at LW but thats the division that suits him best and he has already proved that.

Khan has a tough opponent in Willie Limond but he is Khans best chance for a win out of the bunch he called out - Khan I think will outbox Limond but he will win on points not a KO - Murray could be his next but definately not Thaxton - Thaxton would be too much of a risk at the moment.

It is a good step up, but matches like this continue to beg the question:

Does Khan have a chin?

There is a blatant avoidance of matching him with anyone who has anything near a punchers chance - Someone posted his opponents ko's the other day, and it makes embarassing reading.

I always thought Limond would be his first decent step up and that is purely because he fits the Khan opponent bill perfectly.

And that is a light punching Ex-Super featherweight.

Not that Limond is a mug, because he isn't and I am sure he'll at least come and give it a go, unlike Steffy Bull who only turned up for a payday (that performance was shocking)

We'll still be none the wiser after this fight as to whether Khan can take a shot though, and for me that is the biggest question to be asked of Khan, and it's one that his team seem to be avoiding answering at all costs.

Keep burrying your head in the sand then, Limond is nothing more than a hand picked opponent, Khan is going into the fight as the far bigger man with more power.
Do you actually think that Limond can win?
If your happy for an Olympic siver medalist to be hand fed all his career then so be it. Maybe im expecting to much from such a accomplished amature.

That's the thing though people get distracted by the Silver medal, outside of the Olympic he doesn't have that much senior amature experience. Part of the problem was after winning the silver as soon as he got knocked dowm in the ams it made the papers, that's not really an ideal learning environment. He's got the same problem now too much scrutiny and attention too early on.
