WHO IS THE BEST PROMOTER ???

On reviewing the Boxing Monthly British ratings - which I think are the best of a bad lot - I was surprised to note the attachment of the 14 weight divisions no 1 fighters to the following promoters :-

5 - Sportsnetwork
5 - Maloney Promotions ( 3 with VIP )
2 - Fight Academy
1 - Hennessy Sports
1 - Brian Peters promotions.

What surprised me was how quickly Maloney has managed to get into such a strong position since leaving allegedly , less than 2 years ago and not one of his five no 1 fighters are from his passed association at Sportsnetwork.

Has he surprised any one else on how quickly he has managed to secure such a strong stable ?????

Maloney has done well, considering that the #1 Heavyweight, #1 Lightweight (another top tenner in the devision) and the #1 Featherweight... have all left him in that period.

For competetive contests for meangful titles i go for Hennessy. Sports Network still have a strong grip due to owning Khan and Calzaghe but there shows are often quantity over quality and uncompetetive matchups for fake baubles. Maloney is ok too i suppose.

Domestic boxing would be fine if only there wasn't an unbridgeable chasm between Warren's fighters and the others. Imagine how boxing could connect to a wider audience if Haye-Macca & others were made.

Yeh I would say Hennassy is the best for the fans because he makes very good fights which are competitive and ultimatly good for the sports, however I can see why fighters go with Warren because he runs them like a business and therefore protects his investment. However I think the success of non SN fighters is good for the sport.

Maloney has done well possibly in future he will have the key to pushing Warren down the pecking order.

There have been one or two decent undercard fights since Warren has moved... although, it is all too frequent for the WBU baubble.

fighters I was meant to say. he has got rees has got a WBA title shot !! He has no chance I think, at domestic level against Bami, Multely Morrison, Daws, lynes and Barnes. If he fought Hatton and Junior even less chance. How has he got a title shot?
