Please note that Kelvin Placide from Trinidad & Tobago, Global ID 146579 fought on Saturday 24th March 2007 Skinners's Park, San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago against Christopher Henry.

Kelvin Placide and Christopher Henry fought for the vacant World Boxing Empire (WBE) welterweight title.

Kelvin Placide KO Christopher Henry in the 11 round.

Please see links to newspaper articles that state Placide did indeed win the WBE title.

Also please note that Kelvin Placide's date of birth is 20 April 1974. There is no way he could be 43 years of age!

The commission report said he won by PTS over 10 rounds and we have to go by that.

Is it possible that you can provide the name of the person who provided Boxrec with the information, so that I can contact them regarding the error made?
