Due to the mocking nature of most of your posts on this thread, I thought you didn't actually care?

im privvy to the full picture more than most. i was at the event, ive spoken to both sides via telephone, ive seen the email, and ive read all of the threads. it was even myself who was accused of having the prime seat that should have been afforded to the UKBP representative.

in my humble and ill informed pathetic opinion, UKBP are at fault here, they instigated a fall out with a reputable promotional party, they made false accusations and allegedly accused FM of being a liar!. they have attempted to grovel their way back into favour, they also let down one of their (ex?) writers with fictional complaints on her behalf (surely she is then entitled to back her corner up with her own statement)

Frank Maloney is a decent man, christ, he has traded crap with the likes of don king over the years so why should a couple of 'small time charlies' bother him, he has looked after the heavyweight champion of the world for a considerable period of time. what i do know is that, despite the internet flare up, UKBP could have continued. All Frank wanted was the whole truth to be aired for people to make up their own mind. Frank is not a grudge bearer and equally he is no liar. But UKBP decided to 'edit' the evidence and then when the cluedo game reached its climax they pulled the plug to delete all evidence.

personally im going for.... miss nield, in the press seats, with a notepad.

i echo what others have said, UKBP should return, but without the forum.

ben and i have not spoken for years, so thats not gonna happen, but i have spoken to spud, but pimarily due to the false accusations levelled at myself and my son.

if ben has acted with discretion then its spuds fault the whole charade. so until one of them holds their hands up and admits they fucked up on a monumental level then the blame remains bifurcated.

I feel that on your behalf the waters of this issue have been muddied by the accusations that were levelled at you and your son. But as I stated earlier, its a complete side issue to the real problems that have been caused!

I agree that it would be nice to see it return but thats not my decision and I wouldnt dream of telling Ben what he should do!

Someone said Ben's been stitched up.

Someone said it wasn't Spud's fault this time.

Where's Quincy when you need him.

Rhino, you're clearly entitled to your opinion and you know me well enough to know I'm not partisan on this one. However, from what you've written it clearly implies you haven't seen some of the correspondence I've seen - I should make it clear I haven't written that in a manner to claim some sort of privileged 'insider' status, rather just as a statement of fact.
I should also make it clear that I'm not referring to any of the issues surrounding you and your son.

I do wish I was privvy to the other 'correspondance', clearly it suggests Ben was done up like a kipper.

Which is sad.

Breaking news folks, on the hush hush and QT....
8) 8)

Oliver Stone has snapped up the rights to this sensational whodunnit mystery, and is due to start principal photography next month - the script is already being worked on now by the Hollywood ace, Joe ( friday 13th part 9 )Eszterhas.

Danny DeVito is rumoured to be set for the Maloney role.

Sly Stallone is signed on for the Ben Carey role.

Sharon Stone and Demi Moore are both desparate to play the pivotal Suzanne part..

And Spud Woolat is going to be C.G.I, animated in a similar manner to Shrek, but with a larger head.

This could be be a roller coster ride of a movie.

I am now privvy to the 'correspondance' and it does change the perspective somewhat.

Still some big lumps of sugary naivety in this storm in a tea-cup.

I think Spud may be the first boxing figure to transcend the sport. In a way only Ali and Tyson could match.

You're quite right, and mistakes have clearly been made, but those mistakes were far from 'hanging' offences, that's my only point.
As for Spud... it's not often that words fail me...

Des.

It remains clear that the site could've continued. Shame it all went in the bin, I think I'm about exhausted with the topic now.

In conclusion, I also note Suzanne is now resident at frankmaloney.com
