Message From Wayne Alexander

Post by Lorn »

I have been asked to pass on the following message from Wayne Alexander.

He is returning to the ring on the Calzaghe bill in December. He is now ranked number one in the WBO and is really looking forward to getting back on track and entertaining you guys.

He's wasting his time.

He never fights enough.

He will never make any real money, its too late.

He should have been fighting the likes of Richard Williams, Takaloo, Steve Roberts and Farnell years ago in good domestic fights.

allegedly has turned him into a movie star.

The Invisible Man.

These guy's make unrealistic demands to fight each other.

They have got to get real or accept being skint.

Wayne Alexander is a massive puncher and will have a chance with anyone he meets. He needs to be eased back with a few wins before stepping up again, and it's good to see him back. Everyone knows he was blacklisted for a while...

It'll be great to see Wayne back at long last, is he ranked at light middle or middle now? I saw the WBO middleweight title change hands in Germany and the new champ looked nothing special at all

Lol that means nothing i'm afraid Warrior, whether a German "champ" looks good or not matters little as long as they have the infamous German judges on there side to swing the fights 8)

I can't understand why Sports Network don't match Wayne Alexander V Takaloo. It would be a great fight, they've had some lively gym sessions and it would give both men an opportunity to kickstart their careers with a win.

Good call, I'm sure Sports Network are honest enough to realise that these two unlikely to beat the big guns in the Light Middleweight devision, and the WBO title (Santos) is probably their only chance of winning major world honours (lets disgard the WBO). So, yes they should fight now.

Hatton vs Witter, is a different matter - as Kostya Tszyu is hardly going to be around for ever, its not completely unrealistic for these two to certainly be in the hunt for geniune honours. Thats why I'm prepared (and indeed happy) to wait for Hatton vs Witter.
