'Down the tube' alternatively. Lennox 'Most Definitely' Lewis, and Richie 'Peach of a Punch' Woodhall. You could make a thread just about catchphrases. ("Like Joe Calzaghe says: you don't get paid for overtime" - John Rawling.)

My choices are major things like the pay-per-view disease, and no-one fighting the opponents we'd like.
Frank is another all too obvious target. Commentary - yep. Be lovely to have a 'red button' option to switch it off.

Amateur scoring; actually, most scoring these days. And bad referees.

I hate it when a boxers brother who drives a taxi in Liverpool tries to stab your mate because he asked to go home, not unreasonably, via a cash machine

Richie 'Peach of a Punch' Woodhall, god i'd forgotten how utterly unholy he was for the beeb.

I'd rather they literally dug up Ernie Wise to provide expert analysis than him

His fight with Calzaghe was a fix too, common knowledge that was at the time

Woodhall i mean, the Calzaghe - Earnie Wise fight was a good up and downer, i remember

First I've heard of a fix. What was that about?

Everything he ever says is for the benefit of getting himself over, he is an untalented self publicist and the very best i could with for him is a terminal illness.
Thats not funny mate!! You may not like him and your opinion of his abilities are fair enough to comment on, but wishing the guy gets a terminal illness is really sick - I hope your keyboard melts before you make another comment like that.

Fighters getting slagged off for pulling out injured during training. Frustrating for fans but hey, it's tough shit be patient.

The term "knowledgable Belfast crowd".

The way SKY always blatantly try and stop boxers crediting their training team / friends during a post fight interview.

Cheesey ringwalk music.

Premature stoppages.

Attending fans disrespecting a boxer in the ring.

Booing under any circumstances during a fight.

I'm sure this must have already been mentioned, but I hate celebs at boxing shows. It's fair enough if they are genuine fans that attend smaller shows or follow lesser known fighters, but when they blag tickets to only the biggest fights, and then show up just to watch the main event it really, really pisses me off. I suppose that's a bit stronger than a pet hate though, so I'll have to pick another.

People who think that an unbeaten record is everything.
