MICHAEL GOMEZ - Recently signed VIP fighter came back after an 18 month lay off looking like his old self in another all action scrap which saw Danny Thorpe stopped in 3 non stop exciting rounds - many people feel Gomez is Britains best value for money fighter and on this evidence they may be right.

CHRIS JOHNSON - Moved to 3-1 with a peach of a KO against late sub Danny Gwilym who until walking on to one in the 4th round was holding his own in a well matched technical fight.

CARL DILKS - Won his pro debut 59-56 in a good contest against Carl Wild who came to fight and started of very well winning the first round as Dilks looked to settle. However , after the first round Dilks did settle , took the centre of the ring and forced the fight for a deserved win.

JOHNY ENIGMA - Friend of one man riot Alex Matvienko brought the same all action style into the ring and basically chased Paul Royston round the ring looking for a tear up , succeeding on many occasions!!! This style may not be the most effective but it certainly pleases the crowds and we can look forward to his next outing.

Brian Rose and Joe Ainscough also won on the VIP show from Altrincham Leisure centre and full reports and action shots will soon be up on http://www.vipboxing.com

I like Johny Enigma but do not think you can beat the VIP classic name of Chris P Bacon , all time best.

Just seen that Chris P Bacon is down to fight Rob Norton for the English Cruiserweight title and that reminded me on the name.

Has there ever been a better boxing name ????

His rings results may not linger but he was a good pro and earned a British title shot the hard way.
I was in the same changing room when he knocked out hot prospect Paul Webster, Webster never fought again, I wonder what happened to him
