What has everyone thought of the show so far? Yes we all know the results but the fights so far and the format?

So far we have had a come from behind KO for Freddie Curiel over Ross Minter. A great punch it was. Minter only had to last about 20-30 seconds to probably win on points. He must be gutted but will learn come back better I'm sure.

Anthony Small outpointing Walter Wright where Smalls was rocked in the last and looking troubled and bloody.

Alfonso Gomez dominating a brave but outgunned Conception. The right uppercut from Alfonso that ended the fight was a sickener.

Another brave but outclassed one with Jerson Ravelo flooring Buchanan in the third i think but injuring his right hand in the process, and winning the rest the remaining rounds solely with the jab. Next up is Robin Reid-Jesse Brinkley.

I'm enjoying the show. No sound effects, full 3 minute action. Good to have Teddy Atlas on the show and getting his view on some of our fighters. The interviews are short and quick but informative. No overly emotional stuff except from Sugar Ray Leonard as usual. Whats do you fellas think so far?

I didnt watch mondays show but Its been ok IMO. Im glad they show the whole rounds not just highlights.

Its been excellent..... I would have liked it if it was shown make over the course of a week (e.g. nightly).... Its dragging maybe a little. But what we are getting is good fights (last nights was a bit boring, but good in the fact we are not seeing the home british fighter fighting a bum)... Excellent presentation (although understandably some of the editing to compensate for US sponsors, ads etc - makes it a little bit "chunky").

Its been the best damn domestic boxing thing this year, and an excellent card. Show that titles (I'm not counting the Sugar Ray Leonard trophy) are not always needed.

I do think allegedly deserves ALOT of credit for this.. He's matching the brits hard. I hope this is not the last of these, and if the rumours are true - next years will be on the BBC.

It's a good show. Not as much "human drama" as the original Contender format, but you don't really need much more than a decent pre-fight analysis of the two boxers and an interview with each of them. Atlas, Tessitore and Rawling are all good commentators.

Oh yeah, and those that have questionned the sexuality of David Gest - need only look at his love child Joe Tessitore to show that he's straight.

Well said Stu. Frank gets a lot of unfair hits on here. Just a shame that Paul Smith's fight was shown - the Americans vetoed it because they knew he would kick the crap out of his opponent. BBC eh? Well, well.
