I was just wondering how many of you guys have seen her fight and what you think of her? She is pretty much the flagship for female boxing in Australia so it will be interesting to see the response...

She's a good boxer and is doing Australia proud.... But like most great fighters in Aus she needs to Step up and fight harder oponents in her division.

WOW. I am talking about an Australian World Champion and only one relpy! I thought there would be a little more recogition than this for Sharon. I have seen a few of her fights and used to see her train with Lovemore, she seems like a good bird who is dedicated to her trade. I hope she can get a bit more exposure soon...

It'll be a while before Sharon steps into the ring again.
TWINS are due in October.

When you live in epicentre of Aussie boxing - Gold Coast, there's nothing one doesn't get to know.

In this case, her father Les heads security at my local The Grand Hotel. :P

No need for me to have Foxtel at home. If I want to see fights all I need to do is walk 250m to the pub & Les, who mainly trains Ams, will get it put on any of the 30 TV screens around the joint - including some of the Pay Per View - Les Anyos is a top bloke.
Cheers

Since Sharon Anyos is inactive, What happens to her title? Does she lose it?. Or has she released it and quit the fight scene>?

Margaret Court , Yvonne Cawley, Chris Evert and other women made successful comebacks to tennis after having children. Several female athletes are mothers. Childbirth is not the end of the world for athletes anymore. As for her title, that is something for the boxing organizations to work out. Maybe they could go the Emeritus way.
